Good luck with it andy. I've used it for several years now, so if there's
anything you need help on I, or several other people I know of on the list
who also use it will help you.
                    John.

In which case Andy I'd suggest you look at Image For Windows. You can back
up to DVD and restore from DVD without any sighted assistance. The only tip
I'd give you is, given that you're backing up a huge amount which would be
spread over multiple DVDs make sure you label them so that you know what
order they come in.
                      John.

that is why I need to take the backup off, I also need to remove the
partition from the hard drive also. I think it is looking like I might
have to buy another external hard drive.

Andy, if you don't have sight, although backing up to an external source
is easy enough, using something like Image for Windows you wouldn't be able
to restore without sighted help. If, however you back up to DVD using Image
for Windows you can restore without sighted assistance.
Backing up to your C drive is all very well till you pick up a bug and
have to format and your backup is wiped along with everything else, or you
run out of space, which was the point you made in your post.
                        John.

      Hi Andrew,

Much better to buy an external hard drive; 60-70 quid for a 1tb unit.
Backing up to dvd will be very slow.

      Hth,

      Mike

doing this
please, I need to free up more space on my hard drive and this
takes up
      quite a bit of space.
