[access-uk] Re: asking me to save all the time

Other than as a result of a Google search for this thread, I've never come
across it before. I'm a Jaws user at home, but I use Windo Eyes at work.
Neither of my machines do what you describe.

Cheers

Barry

Hi barry,

Nothing other than open the files, then when I hit alt f4 it asks me to save, I
used jaws for 12 years and have only switched over to window eyes 2 months ago,
Have you heard of this before?
Many thanks

susan

If you have not done anything but open a file, not even highlighted for a copy
and paste to another document, then alt f4 should not prompt a save. Have you
highlighted anything for a copy and paste, Susan?

Cheers

Barry

That is how Word always behaved on my system. I could be wrong but I’m not sure
this behaviour can be altered.
