hi all,
i thought some people might be interested in a battery charger that i came
across by accident which is very accessible.
it's called the esyb e4, it has 4 charging slots for all sizes of round
batteries, will charge NI-MH NI-CD AND RECHARGEABLE Lithium BATTERIES.
it automatically recognises which batteries are put in each slot and where it
becomes so accessible is that you can download an app for both Apple and
Android devices which uses bluetooth to connect to the charger and you can
then check everything about the charging state of the batteries.
you can check the percentage of charge on each battery, what ampage they are
being charged at and quite a bit more, if
the batteries are capable of being charged at a quicker rate you can tap on
that slot number and all the options will
come up and any ampage you can't use will be greyed out, but if the battery was
being charged at 1amp and they could be charged at 2amps that button will be
available for you to tap on to change the charge rate.
the app is 99% accessible with the only thing i had a problem with is if i tap
on the bluetooth button in the app and the charger isn't connected to the app a
message will pop up telling you to press the bluetooth button on the charger to
make a connection but i was unable to get rid of this message with voiceover
turned on so you have to turn off voiceover do a one finger swipe to the right
which closes the message and then turn on voiceover again and then everything
is accessible with voiceover again.
the reason i thought this was such a good find is that there are sellers
selling this on amazon in packs of ten for around £1000 and more but the url
below will take you to the page of a seller that is selling an individual
charger for
£14.99 with free delivery.
when you compare this to the specialist talking battery chargers which cost
£100 plus this is a great buy and allows you to access far more information
about the batteries you are charging.
