hi John,
just like Jackie said at our doctors surgery the receptionist tells us when
it is our turn, and sometimes even the doctor comes out to get us instead of
activating the screen.
but even this is a backward step for us, as our doctors surgery had a
speaking system built into the screen so when our name came up it was
spoken through the speakers.
it was like this for several years then suddenly it didn't speak any more
and when we asked the doctor why it had been stopped he said it was because
people had complained that it was annoying.
of corse they would have been sighted people.
