John,
I have this problem at our llocal surgery. I have to go to reception to get
them to book me in. I then have to get the person to come and get me when they
want me as the screen is totally inaccessible.
Goodness who puts these systems in place and I wonder who they consult when
putting this equipment into medical establishments.
Norman.

Subject: [access-uk] access tech
hi all
well it's a shame there is no access tech in our doctor's surgery i waited for
ages in our local one last week only to eventually realise i should have gone
to the desk and tapped in my date of birth on an inaccessible stupid tablet or
whatever it was. you would think someone would have said something but they did
not. i wonder what these things are and if their could be a way to use it from
a blind person's point of view. so anoying.
