Hi Ali,

Not sure if this is what you’re looking for but... I use Video Download Helper
add-on with Firefox and it works perfectly. They have an IE version but I’ve
never tried that one. To know more about it visit:

https://www.downloadhelper.net/

Before I started using VDH I used to use a website called: KeepVid: Download
YouTube Videos, Facebook, Vimeo, Twitch.Tv, Dailymotion, Youku, Tudou, Metacafe
and more!

http://keepvid.com/

Another website I used in the past is YouTube to mp3 Converter

http://www.youtube-mp3.org/

Though as you probably can tell from the name, with this website you can only
download the sound track of YouTube clips in MP3 formats.

Like you, I stopped using YTD after Eset started complaining about it. This was
quite a long while ago though.

Subject: [access-uk] YouTube clips

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend me a software to download YouTube clips for off-line
viewing? I use to use Free YouTube download from DVDsoft, but, when I tried to
download it again, ESET protested that it may have potentially unwanted or
harmful software.

Thank you

Ali
