No, the version of windows you have on your system whether it is home or
professional will not make any difference to the way Jaws functions. Many years
ago Jaws did differentiate between standard and professional versions where in
standard versions would only work with home versions of windows, however this
has not been the case for several years. Good luck with your new laptop
