http://www.winamp.com/plugins/download/222402
When it's downloaded, just click on it or press Enter on it and follow the
installation instructions.

Thanks for this info. I've downloaded the latest winamp, but I notice the
link given in the piece you forwarded is for US winamp, is there a way I can
change things so that my country shows up as UK without having to download
the file again?
