Eleanor, I think the Samsung software makes a complete backup of what you have on your system at the time you do it. I could be wrong about this, but that's the impression I got when we did it in the office. I was really mainly concerned about ensuring the drivers for sound and graphics were backed up as there are two CDs that come with the machine anyway. If you haven't had the message appearing that nags you to do it, then someone maybe did. Look on drive D, and see if there is a folder called Samsung. If so, then it's done. If not, and you want to do it, you may require sighted assistance. How do I do this? Are you talking about back-up in terms of when you first got the NC10 or a backup when you had loaded all your software? Maybe the person who set it up for me did the backup as the whole process took about 20 minutes.
