Thanks for this insight Terry. I don't think I've got a slider; I'm
using SoundForge version 6. Could that be right?

Hi.

Go to volume control, and hit enter.

Now tab once and you'll see a slider.#

Move it up and down with either the arrow keys or page up/down

Hit altP to activate the preview. Your cursor should stay where you left
it thus continually adjusting the slider with preview activated should
do the trick.

Cheers and hope it works.

Hi.

How can you decrease or increase volume on a piece of audio you're
creating in SoundForge?

Hitting volume gives you the option of decreasing by 50% or boosting by
200%. How do you boost or decrease to points in between 50% and 200%
effectively? I get the feeling I'm missing an easy way of doing this.
Ideally I'd like to do it by listening to the volume as it decreases or
increases so I can match it up with another bit of audio easily.

Appreciated.
