[access-uk] View Problem

Hi All
When I open a list of folders or files such as in My Computer it' comes up
as Icons or Tiles whereas I much prefer Details. I know that hitting View
and then Details will alter it to what I want but I can't work out how to
make this my default. I once asked this before and have the email showing
exactly how to do it in my email store but unfortunately I haven't yet
managed to access them and this problem is annoying me now. So if anyone
will show me how to do this I'll be very pleased.
