Christine, I've absolutely no idea. It sounds like your version of JAWS is full of bugs and querks that doesn't exist in later versions. Sorry about that.

Chris, I wish this would work for me, to tell me why jaws keeps on stopping reading, when I change from email to internet, so I have to close down jaws and then reopen it to make it start talking to me again. Have you any idea what my problem might be? I'm very upset Jaws keeps falling out with me! lol Christine. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Hallsworth" <christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi, once set to details:
1. Alt t for tools
2. O for folder options
3. Control tab once to view page
4. Activate apply to all folders button
5. Activate yes button when prompted
6. Tab to and activate ok button
Hope that helps.

Hi All

When I open a list of folders or files such as in My Computer it' comes up as Icons or Tiles whereas I much prefer Details. I know that hitting View and then Details will alter it to what I want but I can't work out how to make this my default. I once asked this before and have the email showing exactly how to do it in my email store but unfortunately I haven't yet managed to access them and this problem is annoying me now. So if anyone will show me how to do this I'll be very pleased.

Many thanks

Roger
