Hi Jim, are you sure? Both my VRS 1st and 2nd gen function exactly as Alison
described and it’s always been that way.

Hi Alison,
This must be a new updated method of reading foldersin the Stream because I
have other SD cards that show all folders regardless of whether there is
anything in them.
The only exception being one card thathas an Audible book on it and until I put
the Audible book on there was no Audible folder showing on that card.
Thanks for that info anyway.

When I first got a Victor Stream I’d thought it would work like my Milestone
in that I would be creating my own folder names and would transfer songs/books
into those folders. But it is very different.
When you put the SD card into the Victor Stream, it automatically creates its
own folders. You need to copy Daisy books into the designated folder and
non-Daisy books into Victor’s Other Folder and songs into Victor’s Music
folder. All these folders can be seen via your computer. However, if you don’t
have any music in the music folder or audio books in the Other Folder etc.,
when you rotate through your options using the Victor Stream, it will not speak
these empty folders.
