Just to add to what other people have said. There is a key that talks, I no
longer use it as I’ve used the HSBC App for some time now which does the same
functionality for logging on to the web site. Separately I almost never go on
the web site as I can do everything I need to via the App. I used to use the
iPhone App but have been using the Android version for some months now. Touch
wood it is working perfectly at the moment, although to be completely truthful
there were several months when I couldn’t make any payments because the pay
button was not accessible to Talkback. That was fixed around a month ago.

Subject: [access-uk] Using HSBC online banking
Hi,
what is the easiest way of accessing HSBC online banking? The rep said there is
a device called a token that shows on its screen the 4 digit unique code that
you can use to access the site but he said there isn’t a talking version. I
insisted there must be one and he said he asked his manager and there isn’t.
Eventually he said there is also an app that you can download on the iPhone
where the unique code will appear which you can then put into the computer. I
would prefer to use the computer as I think it would be easier than navigating
on the phone. so how do people get onto HSBC online banking and is it easier to
look at statements etc on the computer rather than the iPhone?
thanks, Husna
