Hello Kevin,

No, I haven't tried with files on the root of the flash drive.  According to 
the specs on Hagger's website, it searches for folders first, then files.  I 
wouldn't have thought it necessary to have lots of files in the root of a USB 
flash drive, better to have them in their own folder, as for a music album. 
Will give it a try.
