Carol they are all good suggestions thank you. I am not sure that I would know when I installed it in terms of 'going back'. Maybe that information is somewhere, is it? As for Revo Uninstall, I was advised that this was not good to use as it can play havoc with the Registry. This I was told from a techy person working for Microlink and I am sure there techy people are good.

Well Eleanor,Perhaps it's because you played around getting rid of registry entries etc.I don't know that this will make a difference, but you could try a re-install and then uninstall using Revo Uninstaller. You have various levels to choose from and a very thorough uninstall might do it.
