Hi all.
What I am saying is that you can create an unlimited number of blank images, the unlimited being you are limited to the space on your hard disk. With blank physical media you are limited to the number of physical media you have. This is why I am saying you can burn as much as you like. Then when you're happy you can finally burn it to a blank physical CD/DVD.
Hope this helps.
Take care.

You say that "if you don't like something you can burn it as many
times as you like", but how does this come into effect when we're
talking about virtual media? It's not as if the disks can become
damaged, after all.

OK, Chris, I understand that a little better now.

Hello all.
An example of when you would use a virtual recorder like
Phantom Drive is perhaps you want to preview how a CD or
DVD will play. You could first of all burn it to a
virtual recorder. If you don't like it, no problem; burn
it again, and again, etc, until you are ready to burn to
a physical CD/DVD. Unlike physical media, you are not
having to waste disks because you burnt something only to
discover it went wrong. True there are rewritable media,
but they only last so long before they start to fail.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
