Hi Kevin.

Thanks for having a look for me mate. I was actually hoping that one of the list members had been there for training and could give me a few pointers. Not sure if I should take a radio with me or my minidisk as I don't know that may be available there for me to pass my nights. I'm sure if it's not got a bar, I'll not be long sniffing one out in the viscinity..

Best wishes.

Andy

hi, never been there. but the hilton website might give you some clues. i've
had a very quick look but can't find any reference to cumbernauld. there's
one in william street right in the centre and one in the west end in
grosvenor terrace. sorry my geography of glasgow is non-existant! smile

Hi all.

Christmas is coming early for me this year as I'm going to get a new guide
dog next Friday. I'm not going to Forfar this time but rather, I've to go
to the Hilton Hotel in Cumbernauld Glasgow for a week's training then two
weeks at home I think. Has anyone ever attended this hotel for training?
If so, I'd love to know what it's like. For example, is there a bar, a tv
in my room or access to a computer. Also, how large are the classes?
Will
I be amongst other guide dog owners or will I be on my own? Any info will
be very welcomed. Best wishes. Andy.
