under the distance selling regulations there exists a 7 day cooling off
period. however i am not sure whether this applies to sales initiated by
the seller or otherwise but worth furtherer enquiry as you might be able
to argue your case there, and in any event the "no returns" policy does
not apply if the goods are manifestly faulty and especially if the fault
is such that it causes greater risk than if the fault had not be present
in the first place.
