Hi Pele

We received the Caretec bathroom scales as a wedding present from a good
friend of ours. They are lovely, but quite expensive. They are really well
made and are quite sturdy, so you don't need to worry about standing on
them. I can send you a manual with all the info if you are interested.

Kind regards,

Subject: [access-uk] Talking Bathroom Scales

Hello Everyone

I know this subject has come up before, but I did not pay any attention
at the time as I was not interested. Sorry.

Our talking bathroom scales that we bought nearly 30 years ago are not
working as well as they used to do. Does anyone have any recommendations
for a replacement.

I know that RNIB and Cobolt Systems sell them. The scales we have at the
moment have 5 memories and a Guest button, so you don't have to remember
what your weight was when you last stepped on. As far as I can see neither
of the new models have this facility, but I could be wrong.

I would be interested in anyone's opinion.
