Hi Jim

There are two models of the Sonata, the original and the Plus. On the
original version, I have Daniel. On the Plus, you get to choose, but mine
has Acapela Graham. While I don't rate the speech quality on either version
particularly, it does the job for browsing the various menus. Streaming
radio has really got better over the years though, and the quality through a
hifi system is pretty good.

Kind regards,

Hi Jackie,

I listened to a short podcast from the BWBF website and although the
speech wasn't perfect, it wasn't bad. I don't quite know how old this
podcast is so I wonder if the speech engine has improved since the piece
was recorded.
What's your opinion on this?
Cheers.
