Just worked that part out anyway and thanks a lot to you both for the assist.
I do as I say have total Recorder but when the option of WavePad shows itself I think that it's easier for me then to just hit on that option in that instance.
BTW, Total Recorder is a worthy programme too in it's own right. Cheers, Tony On 19/12/2014 11:47, Keith wrote:
Hello again Tony, I should have said that, after you open WavePad, press Control+o, and then paste your file, you should then press Enter, and you will hear your file being loaded. Hi Louise and Keith, Thanks for getting back. Now just one more question. When I open Wavepad which of the file menus do I go in to to bring in the required audio I want to edit? Think it's in the file menu but which option? Tony On 19/12/2014 10:30, Keith wrote:Hello tony, I'm afraid I can't tell you where to find WavePad help, but it's very easy to remove unwanted material from the start or end of a file. This is how I do it: 1, from the start of a file, press F8, until you get to the desired point. 2, Press Shift+Home. 3, Press Delete. Likewise, at the end of a file, 1, Press F7, until you get to the required point. 2, Press Shift+End. 3, Press Delete. It's much more tricky to edit in the middle of a file, as you need to set bookmarks. It can be done with no sight, but I've never managed it.
