You thought it was a light? You shouldn't have plugged the scart lead from the TV. Unplug it from your sky box end instead. Plug the sky talker scart cable in to your sky box, then the scart lead you unplugged from your sky box in to the back of the scart cable you just plugged in to your sky box.
