Hi,
I know I am writing under another topic, I am not too sure how to start a new
topic on here. I have a sense player, I have an m4b file which I am playing
but every time I switch the player on and off, and try to start my book again,
the book goes back to the start, Has anyone any ideas?

Hi.
I think Henry was trying to find out how to enter the code he is sent by
Amazon. I've been unable to try this on my player but will try to do so over
the weekend. If I do find out how to get the code put in I will post here. The
only other option might be to turn off 2-factor authentication via Amazon then
try signing in.

Step For Loggin Into Audable.
Please find the steps below to find the market you are in then you should be
able to successfully log into your audible account.
1. Open All Aps and then open the Audible app.
2. Use right or left arrow to locate profile tab and press OK.
3. Then user right or left arrow to locate the market drop down and press OK
and then use right or left arrow to select the UK market if you use the UK
Audible store and press OK.

5. Then use the navigation arrows to find the email/phone number edit box and

I'm having problems trying to connect my Audible Account to the Audible app
on the sense player.
I get as far as inserting my username and password then when I select sign
in, Amazon send me a verification code and at the same time the sense player
is repeatedly saying "wait" and after about 1 or two minutes this ends and
then I can't insert the code.

If you're having issues with Audible, it should let you sign in if you first
install the chrome browser on the sense player. I've set a couple up and so
far they haven't presented any problems.

The SensePlayer actually takes a micro SD card up to 1tb, though I
have not tried one that size, mine is a 256gb.
In fairness, I have not experienced the problems Ian has with his.
Once I understood how the DAISY navigation structure worked, I
found my books held their position, and I also have multiple voices
installed on my unit. Granted they are all Vocalizer which I am
not a fan of, but I have installed Serena, Malcolm and Karen.
There is no doubt there have been bugs, and probably will continue
to have, but then what hardware and software doesn’t? Martin says
the VRS 3 has a few obvious bugs as well, one of which seems to be
that podcasts don’t always show up in your feed list. He has to
completely reboot the device to get the list of existing episodes
which is major given this unit has been around in one guise or
another for 15 years or so.
Hims and HumanWare will naturally deny this, but I think the two
devices are in competition with one another, so were both released
at roughly the same time, bugs and all! 😊

Mandy, I have returned the Sense player I bought. During the
learning and set-up process I discovered two major failings. One
was related to the utility for loading alternative TTS voices to
the one that comes as default. On the player I had this did not
work. The Daisy player also failed to hold my place in a book when
the player went into stand-by (sleep) mode and when I went back to
the player it had closed. re-opening it took me back to its
explorer file list and when I opened the same book it started back at the
beginning.
I am now awaiting delivery of a Stream 3. My understanding is that
the Sense takes a micro SD card up to 256GB.
