Just gone for the Apple download and although the download is free, there
seems to be a £4.49 monthly subscription. Looks like thats going to be the
price when its out of beta.

now.
Hi all,
My wife and I are both blind and my assistant is on holiday this week, so we
are shipping out the orders.
I had to send out a phone this week, but for warranty reasons, I need to
keep things like the IMEI number etc.
This Email is just to show that Seeing AI on the iPhone is not the be all
and end all that people think it is.
Firstly, I have an iPhone 8 and a Pixel. I have Seeing AI on my iPhone and
Envision AI on my Pixel. I should also say that Envision AI is cross
platform, so iPhone peeps can try this too.
I needed quite a bit of info from the box that I was trying to read. My
wife who only has a tiny bit of sight, told me there is some white text on
the box, that may not be picked up by scanning software.
So, Seeing AI first. Read little bits of it, but not the information I
needed.
Eye-D Pro, an Android only app, not bad, but it still didnt get all of it.
KNFB was a no-no, because it doesnt even work with Android P, but I didnt
bother to try it on my iPhone.
Envision AI completely blew me away. It read every word on the box with 100
percent accuracy.
The only shame with Envision is I am not able to share the text to any other
app, I hope this comes in the future, but its OCR is phenomenal. Once we
get the ability to share, I think it will be the best app out there for OCR
whatever platform. The price is also good too at the moment its free,
because its in beta. But once released, I believe they will charge for it.
But they deserve it.
I have no affiliation with any of these companies, I am just astounded by
this app. I recommend anyone try it who hasnt.
