Yes, what I meant to say is that I use Dictation to create text messages. So, for clarification, I go into Messages, choose Compose, and double tap the Dictate button to add the recipient I wish to text, ending the dictation with a two-finger double tap. Then I go to the edit field and double tap the Dictate button again to speak my message. I double tap the Dictate button to finish speaking, then choose Send to dispatch the message. I hope this makes sense Brendan. You can, of course, use the on-screen keyboard to type your messages, but it takes a bit of practice.
