Damon, if you have it installed, try RealPlayer. I never have a problem with
it.
By the way, has your partner given birth yet? If so, how did it go and are
they both ok? No I'm not getting broody. (chuckle.)

Yes, apparrently for sighted people there is a rip button that they click on,
it is the same if you wanted to burn a cd with WMP, but my brother and I've
tried, but JAWS doesn't want to move to the button, even when I tried routing
the cursors, so I now just use CDEX.
