Catherine,

The book CD's you return to the library are 'crumbled' into ballast for road making! Because they contain your address on the disk, it has to be destroyed to preserve data integrity.

Ray

Subject: [access-uk] Recycling CDs from TNAUK

Hi,

Does anyone know if/where CDs can be recycled? Because I get weekly
CDs from TNAUK and don't want to just throw them away. I heard that
RNIB talking books are recycled when we send them back so it must be
doable but what can I do with other CDs?

Catherine
