Ah but that then means having to turn the computer on and be glued to a screen reader. I like to listen to daisy cd's whilst doing other things. Digressing slightly this is why I'm so glad I learned braille, you can sit in the quiet and read with a good book with nobody chunnering on at you.

Why do you bother with the cd's when you can subscribe online for a cheaper price and have access to all their titles as well. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jackie Cairns" <cairnsplace@xxxxxxx>

Hi Catherine

In the days when I used to subscribe to TNAUK and used lots of floppy disks as well, I compiled a parcel every now and then and sent them all back to TNAUK with my best wishes! (smile.) They always wrote me a very nice letter of thanks too.

Subject: [access-uk] Recycling CDs from TNAUK

Hi,

Does anyone know if/where CDs can be recycled? Because I get weekly
CDs from TNAUK and don't want to just throw them away. I heard that
RNIB talking books are recycled when we send them back so it must be
doable but what can I do with other CDs?

Catherine
