Hi Simon,
It does indeed. The only things it doesn't speak are setting the clock, and
multi-track recording. Other than that, yes, it does speak.
Of course, if you buy it from us, we fully support it, including an
accessible Daisy manual.
All the best
Steve

looking at the ls-100, there doesn't seem to be any mention of speech on it.
does it have it?
if not, I have to say that I can't see it being super accessible for a
total, unless I'm missing something.

Hi,
The Olympus LS-100 is the best recorder they have ever made, but it
depends on what you want to pay.
The LS-14 is probably the next one down.
We sell them all, as do other outlets.
I hope this helps.
All the best

Subject: [access-uk] Radio quality accessible recorder
Hi all,
I wonder if folk would know of a compact and quality recording device
that is usable for blind and which is of radio qquality?
I'd like something easy to use but doesn't need to hold a huge amount
of material and of course must have USB.
I understand I'd need to be prepared to spend a couple of hundred on one.
Anyone can assist with info, thank you so much.
Tony
