Alongside the ceaseless nonsensical banter, I think the seemingly endless
Android versus iOS debate is far too much featured. Technology is more than
Android versus iOS. If my local technology group is anything to go by, this is
far from a pressing issue. What these people in the group would probably but
really interested in would be a review and demo of items such as those
mentioned in the most recent RNIB New Product Guide. The latest Apple event,
particularly when it doesn't happen, is of little interest to most. A review
and demo of a DAB radio pffovided by RNIB will be much higher up the interest
level scale certainly for the people in my local technology group.

Hi Alison,
Andy is an Android user, but he barely gets air time when I have listened
anyway.
All the best

I have to acknowledge that I find all the banter irritating too, but I do
think some of you are being a bit harsh in respect of your comments about the
programme favouring the iPhone over Android. I think Andy on the programme is
an Android user.
I often listen to Heart Radio and some of the other DAB radio stations and it
seems to be that the current fashion is, especially with the breakfast shows,
to have two presenters messing about and supposedly being funny (at least
they seem to find their own jokes funny) and spending almost as much time
messing about as playing the music.
I’d be sorry to lose Steve from Techntalk as I think he has a really good
radio voice but I just wish they’d spend less time messing about and more
time on the nitty gritty.
