Hi Mary,
I am having a similar issue. As an initial guess, it seems like the servers
that power the app or the GPS system are down.
The blank screen at the start of the app is where it checks for a valid
subscription and checks which maps to load. If it can't do that, it can't
really do anything else.
Maybe try getting in touch with them and informing them that you are unable to
use it. It's not very good that there aren't any error messages or status
updates in my opinion.
Regards
Luke

Hi,

Is any one having problems with RNIB Navigator on the latest version of the
iPhone?  I purchased it for a month but I am still told that my subscription
needs updating.  When I try to open the app there's usually just a blank
screen.  I was informed that my purchase had gone through by the app store.

Mary
