Yep, in compatibility mode, you can still edit it.

working on was actually in ‘Compatibility Mode’ and not ‘Protected Mode’. That’s

This is a security risk and I would not recommend enabling these options unless
you are definitely sure that documents are trust worthy.

I’ve just tried ‘F6 > tab’ to enable editing as suggested, but couldn’t find
the ‘enable editing’ button. A search document field and a results tab, all
that there was.
I’m using Office 365 with Jaws version 2021.
