I had this problem several months ago and found that I had to go to the
Windows update website and download it directly from there rather than
having it delivered by automatic updates as I would have expected to have
been able to do. I too am running Windows 7 home premium.

Hi,

 

I have tried several times to install IE11 as it is one of my important
windows updates.  I have however been unsuccessful with the installation.

 

I receive codes saying different things like my pc may be unstable, which to
my knowledge it is not.  I've run scans and nothing has come up saying there
is a problem.

 

I'm running windows 7 home premium 64 bit, Jaws 15, and therefore wonder if
anyone can help.
