I've a feeling it was the seller being over cautious. My mate boughta mug
for 99p and the seller wouldn't send it to my address and insisted on
recorded delivery, which means I have to wait in for it.

I have asked things to be sent to a different address but just included it
in a separate email to the seller.

Hello,
I have purchased paying with paypal and never had anything sent registered
post, although sometimes the seller has had proof of posting. I have never
asked for anything to be sent to any other address, other than the one I
have registered, but if I was selling I would not send to any other address.

       Best wishes, Tony Pearce

Sorry if this is off topic.

Is it a strict policy for an item bought using paypal to be shipped through
recorded delivery and for the goods to only be shipped to the same address
as the paypal account?

Thanks

Barry
