I just want to report that I went out this afternoon and bought some Bose
Frames. I also have Orcam, which comes with what looks like a cable tie,
but it's a magnetic mount for Orcam that you can put on any glasses. We put
the mount on Bose Frames, and it's really quite compelling. Your phone's
Bluetooth audio through the Frames, and Orcam through its own little ear
speaker.
It's really quite exciting.
I realise of course, that Orcam is very expensive, but it is tiny and fits
on any glasses, so you now have all the apps on your phone, coming through
the Frames, and the ability to OCR as well.
I'm looking forward to taking this combo out for a spin.
Note, if you have Orcam, you have to cut one of the ties off the mount,
because if you keep the double tie on, it covers the battery charging
magnet, but it does work.
