I have saved images but not often, so Steve's probably right that it does work as he says.
I do find it so useful to copy without going into K1000 and taking up time and resources to do that if I only need a photo copy.

Hi Carol and Steve I knew there were utilities within K1000, but thought it was for fax and photocopy only, not being able to save the image. That then gives me the utility I have used in Office for so long. Thanks very much for that, most helpful as ever. You can use the Copyfacility either within K1000 or outside of it by locating the utility. I'vefound it very useful over the years as you can get all photocopying done well without finding somewhere to make copies! Go to the File menu, then Launch, then Photocopier. This will scan then send an image to the printer. To save, you can select Save Images, when you've scanned something from K1000 itself. I have no experience of using One Note but note that that John Martin who produced the BlindTunes scripts for iTunes and Jaws has also apparently made scripts to make One Note easier to use. All the above came from listening to a Freedom Scientific Podcast but thought I would pass on my memory of this if it helps you investigate further. For myself I am holding off 365 until the Mac version becomes accessible later this year when I guess it will then make sense to upgrade both myOffice on both windows and Mac Platforms at the same time as I believe thesubscription will work on all platforms. This brings me to the dreaded fond farewell to my Office Professional2003,and a luke warm handshake to Office 365. Martin has already taken out a subscription to 365 which we can apparently install on up to five devices. So to my questions then: 1. Martin can Email me a link which is valid for 30 days that I can usetogo to the 365 page. But what we haven't been able to establish iswhether, should I use that link and go to the site, do I create my own account, oruse Martin's credentials to download a copy once my machine is up andrunning? Has anyone used a family member's subscription to install it ontheir own computer?2. In 2003, there is a great little tool I often use to either photocopysomething, or scan in a document with my signature on it so that I cansendit to someone as a TIF file. An example might be to scan a VAT exemptionform which I have signed, and can return to a company as a file. I have looked around on Martin's machine, and can't find this equivalent at allin365. Does it exist or, if not, would K1000 do something similar? Thanks for any advice or suggestions. I just want to be as prepared as Ican be once the machine is upgraded.
