can you let us know the make and type number of the battery, or even its
size, supply voltage and current capacity?

Subject: [access-uk] Mountbatten Brailler Repairs

Hi List.

I've got an extremely old Mountbatten Brailler, we're talking in the region
of twenty years here, and not surprisingly the battery pack has long since
given up the ghost. I know Sight and sound can get me a new battery, but
I've got to admit to being somewhat put off by the £100 price tag.

Does anyone know of any other dealers who might be able to help me with an
old MB?

There used to be a gentleman based in the Liverpool area I seem to remember,
who was very helpful in the past, but I can't for the life of me remember
his name. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

If £100 is what I have to pay, then that's what I have to pay, but I would
like to have a wee shop around before making the final decision if at all
possible.

Regards.

Darran
