Hi Carol,

That depends on many variables, such as signal strength, whether you
are in a 3G coverage area, Whether you have HSDPA available to you
which is faster than 3G, all kinds of things.

All the best

Thanks. Any idea what speeds you get when using Walking Hotspot?

Hi Carol,

None of them support WPA, but apparently this is due to limitations
of the phones, rather than the programs, at least that is what
bWalking Hotspot support tell me.

All the best

Steve

Do neither of these programmes support WPA, then?

Has anyone tried both and found one to be faster, or more reliable,
than the

other.

I've only briefly tried "Walking Hotspot". Next time I need that
kind of freedom, I shall try with a view to buying one or the other,
so would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried both.

Ar ok, thanks for telling us that Steve. I'd probably use WPA (if
supported), but if not WEP on Joiku, otherwise it may be Walking
Hotspot.
