But I just asked SIRI from a locked screen which version I had and although
it couldn't tell me, it did take me to a Wikkipedia link on Iphones so I
take back what I said. It does work on a locked screen. Spare my blushes!!

Thanks for this. With Siri turned off in the lock screen, does this mean
that you then have to unlock the phone every time you want to use Siri?

Basically turn siri off on lock screen in the passcode settings. This one's
