Hi Andy, are you a Jaws user? There's an MSN help section in the Jaws help files/ popular applications with Jaws/ Microsoft applications/. That should get you started. As Chris said MSN and Windows Live Messenger are the same. Windows Live is the newer version of MSN. And yeah, what's wrong with tying a letter to a pigeon's leg? Fewer keystrokes to cope with and no new abbreviations and winks that you have to learn! :-)

Windows Live/MSN are one and the same; people just call them different| names. I prefer to call it Windows Live for informational purposes and MSN| for general conversational purposes. However, they both mean the same thing, | use the same programme (Windows Live Messenger), etc. Web Messenger,| however, is using Windows Live/MSN Messenger via your web browser. This is| useful, for example, in a corporate setting whereby Windows Live/MSN| Messenger's ports has been blocked by the corporate administrator. .Net is | the service to which Windows Live/MSN/Web Messenger uses. Hope this helps, | and good luck in signing up to this brilliant service. Listen, when you're| ready, add me to Windows Live/MSN Messenger (my address is in the signature, | the one with hotmail.com at the end), and we'll talk. | | -- | Chris Hallsworth | | Derbyshire, UK | | E-mail | christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx | | MSN | ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx | | Skype | chrishallsworth7266 | | Website | http://www.chrishallsworth.co.nr| ----- Original Message ----- | From: "Andy Collins" <andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>| To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> | Sent: Friday, July 25, 2008 3:29 PM | Subject: [access-uk] MSN; Live Messenger; Web Messenger | | | > Hi all - | > | > I'm still trying to sign up to Live Messenger, but it seems there is | > currently a problem with Microsoft for the sign up process on that | > webpage. | > | > While I'm waiting for them to sort it, can anybody tell me more about the | > Messenger programmes?
