Hi Carol, You'll find this setting in Styles. Go to the Format Menu, and select Styles and Formatting. F6 will take you from the document to the Styles list. Arrow down to the Style you wish to modify - let's say for now it's Heading 1. Right click on it, and select Modify. Tab down to a list Box called "Style for Following Paragraph" and make you choice. I'm sure I recall a setting in earlier versions of Word where you could choose whether or not to follow paragraph formatting but I can't find it here ... Help would be much appreciated and I hope someone knows what I mean! <Smiles> -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
