Hi,
Using Windows 7, Office 2010 and JAWS 15
I've been told by a sighted person that when creating a new document in Word
2010 there is a larger gap between lines of text, almost to the point of being
the equivalent of double line spacing. Using the checking format keystrokes in
JAWS (Ins+F) it tells me that line spacing is "1 Line" and not "single" as was
in Word 2003 which left a narrower gap between lines of text.
According to the Word Help facility you can set line spacing to single by using
the following keystrokes:
Alt followed by H,G and then scroll down the list to Word 2003 and press Enter.
This then gives me "Single Line Spacing"
This is a bit long winded if I have to do this every time I want to create a
new document as I can't find a way of keeping this setting as my default.
Is there a way of changing the "1 Line" in Word 2010 to a smaller gap between
text, for example .5 or.75 and then set it as the default?
Hope this all makes sense to anyone out there.
