If its unlikely you'll be formatting your laptop in the near future. And really, smiles, who knows this for sure, you can get an auth key sent to you from FS by email. Comes as an attached file. Might be good for the time being until you upgrade. Yes, I know I can use a portable floppy drive to transfer the authorisation key, but I was trying to avoid buying another portable device if possible - but I don't think I'll be able to. Thanks. Having said this, from 6.0 the JFW key is using the Internet not a floppy. Are there any plans to put the JAWS authorisation on to a CD in the future? The floppy drive is all but dead. A 128 MD USB memory key is about the price opf an external floppy (£20) and holds the equivalent of over 80 floppy disks. I know I can buy a portable USB floppy disk drive, but want to avoid that if at all possible. Can anyone recommend any particular laptops that still have an internal floppy disk drive? Thanks.
