Hi Colin,

I suspect the video may be an "ATI IGP 340M (Radeon Mobility
M7)".

Compaq's drivers for this are accessible via their web page,
but you will have to search for the "EVO N 1020V" in the
Support & Drivers section, where you'll find the "ATI Video
Driver and Control Panel" necessary for that system.

You may also find you need other drivers for that model.
Did it not come with an additional CD of drivers?

George.

Hello George,

Thank you for your swift response yesterday.
The Laptop is a Compac EVO N 1020V

Be grateful if this sheds any more light on the problem.

Many thanks

Colin
