I realise that this may be a stupid question, but as a Dial up user trying to find a way into the broadband age, some clarification would be most helpful. As a temporary measure I would like to have two laptops connected directly to a router. Neither laptop has a RJ45 socket but both have LAN jacks. Could the latter b used to make the connection to the router? If so, what sort of cable would I need?
