Hi George,

 

The problem with articles like this, is they don't name the brands.  Not
every brand is unsafe, and I have had lots of success with for example,
Choetec, so it tends to make the problem worse.  They mentioned Go Travel
and Trust, only two of the brands, it would have been better if they named
the products they tested.

 

If you stick to branded products like Apple, you certainly pay through the
nose.

I make no apologies for posting this to multiple lists.  Many of us use USB
mains adaptors, and our safety is paramount.

 

I think we can be assured that the independent Consumers' Association can be
trusted not to be scare-mongering here.
