Hi
This is one of the reasons I stick with the brand I know. Are use the American
charging brand anker for all my third-party charging accessories and cables
because I know that they have an excellent reputation for customer service and
consistently good reviews on Amazon who fulfil their products for them. There
is never any issue about getting a replacement when I need to make a claim
under their warranty and if I do need it, telephone and email customer service
is available.

Hi George,

The problem with articles like this, is they don’t name the brands.  Not every
brand is unsafe, and I have had lots of success with for example, Choetec, so
it tends to make the problem worse.  They mentioned Go Travel and Trust, only
two of the brands, it would have been better if they named the products they
tested.

If you stick to branded products like Apple, you certainly pay through the nose.

All the best

Steve

online marketplaces

I make no apologies for posting this to multiple lists.  Many of us use USB
mains adaptors, and our safety is paramount.

I think we can be assured that the independent Consumers’ Association can be
trusted not to be scare-mongering here.
