Hi Brian

It sounds as if the logo default on the phone may have been changed, or
possibly the theme. I'm not saying it has been changed, but it kind of
sounds like that to me. To ensure it is on default, go to:

Tools, Settings, General, Personalisation, Display, and arrow down to
Welcome Note/Logo. Mine is set to default, and you would want yours to be
the same if you don't want a name or something else appearing when your
phone boots up. You can change this by pressing the Options key and
changing it to Default.

In the Personalisation tab sheet, you could also go down to Themes, and
check your phones are set to the same one as there are a few to choose from.

I hope these suggestions help.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Subject: [access-uk] It makes no sense

Both Mandy and myself have N86's with contracts taken out on the same
day,the same Nokia software and both with Talks 5.

Mandy's says the full day every day; mine abbreviates some eg Sat instead of
Saturday, Wed instead of Wednesday. Also mine will not speak a text welcome
logo insstead of the default. Mandy's will give a bleep and then speak her
welcome message.

To our knowledge we have the same settings though mine says zoom off etc in
Talks and Zooms and her's only mentions the Talks settings without
mentioning the zooms list.

Any ideas why this should be please.
