[access-uk] Is this folder safe to delete?

Wen looking in the C:\Windows folder of my XP Pro system I
noticed a folder with the name $Ntservicepackuninstall. It was a
hidden folder, Read only of almost 350 mb containing over 2,000
files. From its creation date it seems to have been produced when
I installed SP2.
I am always looking for ways of removing unnecessary items from
my C: drive and if necessary storing them on another partition on
which free space is not so important.
I wonder whether it would be safe to move the folder in question.
Presumably it would only be needed again if I decided to revert to
the original XP, i.e. without sP2.
Any advice would be appreciated,
